Our staff at Macquarie Medical Imaging, not only encompassed the most technical expertise, but also provide the most friendly service with empathy to their patients and referring doctors. This involves treating each patient and their referring doctors as partners and providing in consultation and direction from them to provide a complete solution for their concerns.

Radiologists are medical specialist with at least 12 years of training including dedicated post medical school training in diagnostic radiology. The radiologists at Macquarie Medical Imaging are credentialed by The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and responsible for interpreting diagnostic images of patients for medical diagnostic purposes.

Nuclear Medicine Physicians are qualified specialists with accredited post medical school training in Nuclear Medicine. The nuclear medicine physicians at Macquarie Medical Imaging are credentialed by either The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), or The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), and responsible for administration of radiopharmaceuticals and interpreting diagnostic images.

Radiographers and Sonographers are professionally trained technologists who have completed sub-specialty post graduate training, as well as having expertise in breast imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, oncology and interventional procedures. They work with the radiologist to operate the specialised equipment used to scan patients or perform interventional procedures.

Reception and Clerical Staff are at the face of our practice. They greet patients and assist in receiving all the relevant information for the patient's visit which will be providing to the technical staff and Radiologists. They also ensure the patients visit is as smooth and comfortable as possible.
